How to Plan a Baby Shower on a Budget

How to Plan a Baby Shower on a Budget

If you or a friend is planning a baby shower, send them this blog post! Not only does it have great tips, but free printables too!

Baby Shower Games

Baby gift bingo is a great game to play to keep the guests entertained while the mom-to-be is opening gifts. Check out this free printable bingo card you can use for your shower: ---> Pink Floral Bingo Card Printable

Another great game is to pass out notecards and have guests write their best mom/baby advice for this new chapter. A great way to have a keepsake that the mother can reference as she and her baby grow together!

Snacks and Food

Having refreshments can definitely be a budget buster. Opt to make instant pot appetizers that take minimal prep and can produce a large serving. Here are a few of my favorite instant pot recipes:

- Buffalo Chicken dip
- Chicken Tacos
- Yummy mac n cheese

Also ask a couple friends or family to make a batch of box brownies or their own favorite dessert!

Definitely try to offer water bottles and have fresh cut lemons for drinks. You don't need to have an open bar for the guests - they are there to celebrate the new mom-to-be!

Decorations

Decorations are nice...but you honestly don't need them! To save the most money, opt out of the cheap streamers or balloons that will end up in the landfill anyway.

Other Baby shower tips

Have your thank you card envelopes at the front of the entrance so that guests can write their name and address on the envelope - that way you don't have to find them and write them yourself when you make your thank you cards. That's it for now. Share your best tips in the comments!
